Our team is headed up by Jim Davies, an experienced racing sailor, skipper and instructor, who is also a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute. He handles most of the business administration.
Jonathan Tyrrell, winner of the RORC Sea School boat Trophy, and the RORC Young Skipper Trophy, is usually found helping race crews deliver winning results, and supporting owners on board.
As an expanding business, we are managing our growth carefully, and currently use a small team of occasional staff to support us. In time, we are likely to recruit additional staff to look after our current clients, and help us grow. With transparency and reliability as our main focus, we will carefully recruit any new team members, and always seek to offer value for money.
Oversight is provided by our volunteer 'board', all of whom have experience running companies (large and small) as well as the marine industry. It's great to have them to lean on, especially when it comes to big picture thinking!
We are based in Hamble-le-Rice, on the South coast of the UK. Race yachts are usually UK and Mediterranean based, and larger leisure and charter yachts are supported worldwide.
